Beautifully and visually satisfying

This app is wonderful in the sense that the foods are being shown by color and group. For people who are visual learners or incredibly tactile, this app is ideal! If you want to learn about whole foods, this is truly the way to go! I will be convincing my friends and family to give it a whirl as well! So informative and so visually appealing!

Much potential

This app is in the very early stages of development and it has great potential! I am so happy to have found an app that focus on nutrition rather then loosing weight. Im really looking forward to what updates will bring. I love the tips under each food- like "did you know root vegetables carry pesticides inside them" and you should buy organic when you can? MIND BLOWN

Its a very useful and convenient app to keep track of calories and nutrition. Has tons of great information. I gave it 4 stars because I think it needs a better selection of foods.

Great app

I love thats its not just a calorie counter. I like tracking my vitamin and mineral intake and this makes it so easy.

As a quick handy resource its fabulous! I wish you could add previous meals or that the app would remember your favorite foods.

This app is not user friendly at all. I was looking for something easy to use that wouldnt consume too much of my time. This is not it.

Wonderful, Absolutely Wonderful

Where have you been all my life? THIS is what I have been searching for - a nutrient tracker that allows me to truly live a much healthier, nutrient dense lifestyle. The two big social diet apps simply dont compare. My wife and I just started using this app, absolutely love it. Thanks to the developers for creating a healthy app - please keep up the great work. Wish list: An easier viewing interface for iPhone / Smartphones ... we use this as a lifestyle and nutrient tracker, so accessed more on our phone(s) than on an iPad. Ability to customize what nutrients are displayed - they are all useful, but as an older bodybuilder I am more interested in focusing on some specific nutrient readings. Would be nice to have personal / favourite foods and recipes show at top of screen versus the current default being at the bottom ... those of the foods most people would access regularly for their daily food journals! All the best. Note, our wish list is not a complaint - the developers have done a great job with this app, we just hope they continue to improve and evolve into an even better, more user friendly one .

Absolutely Amazing!

This is exactly what I wanted, calculating all the major and micro nutrients at once as well as sugars, and sodium. So helpful in tracking health for fertility as well as truly seeing what you eat and if you are getting enough.

Much more than any calorie tracker!

Cant create account

As of right now the settings on the "make an account" page dont allow my "old" iPhone 4s to finish creating a required account because after I finish filling out the boxes my keyboard gets stuck over the "done" button. I cant even move the page up or down to get to the "done" button or hide my keyboard. Im sure this was made perfectly for iPhone 5 and newer. However, this renders the app entirely useless to me as its required to make an account. Please fix it for my "ancient" iPhone 4s and for every iPhone 4 that would like to use this potentially useful app. As for now, I shall delete wholesome and hope for an update.

This app shouldnt be advertised as free! You cant even track any food without purchasing a membership.

Finally - micronutrients!

It was seemingly impossible to find a resource to track micronutrients...until now. I truly dont care about my macros. I was beginning to believe that I was the only person on earth who wasnt chasing around fat and carb gram goals. This app is visually appealing and provides the detailed helpful nutrition info that I love to know!

Easy•Beautiful•Useful

Beautiful visuals, easy to use, just exactly what I need to track foods for nutrition and diet tracking.

Good with a few exceptions

Its a good app for tracking what you ate. Inputting custom food items (eg, homemade soup) is frustrating as some of the vitamins need to be entered in as % of RDA. Not sure which calorie per day: the standard 2000 or my personal goal. There are a few nutrients that one doesnt get to input.

Ive been looking for this app for YEARS

Ive been trying to find an app that didnt stop at just calculating protein, fat, and sugar in my diet! Now I can finally prove to everyone that my vegan diet lacks nothing!

Finally! nutrition made simple.

The quintessential missing tool for quick reference while cooking and shopping! I have spent countless hours pouring through books like the Nutrition Almanac and Nourishing Traditions, taking notes, trying to figure out what balance of foods I should eat while trying to remember all the benefits of specific nutrients in particular foods. I enjoy that process and will continue to read those books, but this app allows me to access all the technical information quickly and conveniently. As a person on a highly restricted diet, the daily Nutrition Tracking feature allows me to figure out which vitamins and minerals I am missing, why those nutrients are important and which foods i can get more of them from.
